Metroid is a video game made by Nintendo. It was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987. In this game, players take control of the intergalactic bounty hunter Samus Aran and guide her through the planet Zebes, on which she must find and destroy Mother Brain to prevent the Space Pirates from replicating a deadly species of energy-draining aliens.
