Spectrum Animation was a Japanese animation studio that was founded in 1988 by Motoyoshi Tokunaga. Spectrum was responsible for animating Season 2 of the Captain N cartoon series. Due to NBC, the channel that aired the series, cutting budget costs on its Saturday morning cartoon lineup, Spectrum did not animate Season 3, and Plus One Animation took over for them. However, they are credited for the storyboards of that season's episodes.
